Current projects / Work & inquiry
What I’m making.
What I’m asking.
A memoir, a connected performance, and an expanding curiosity about dance, artificial intelligence, and technology.
These projects bring writing, movement, research, and learning into conversation. Each begins with a question—and room for what I have yet to discover.
“What if rainbows weren’t meant for little Black boys like me, but I kept them in my pocket anyway?”
01 / Writing
Rainbows
Memoir in developmentA memoir shaped by questions of identity, belonging, imagination, and the possibilities we hold onto.
Rainbows begins with the image of a little Black boy keeping rainbows in his pocket. It offers a way into the memories, questions, and acts of self-definition that shape a life.
The writing asks what it means to make room for who we are—and who we are still becoming.

From the page
to the stage.
Connected performance in developmentA performance taking shape alongside Rainbows, carrying the memoir’s questions into movement, voice, and live presence.
My vision for the opening returns to the conversation that began the project: the first question about rainbows. The audience enters at that beginning, where a question becomes an invitation to imagine.
As the work develops, I’m exploring how the written story and the performing body can speak to one another.

Dance, AI,
and the questions
between them.
Emerging inquiryI’m curious about what happens when the embodied knowledge of dance meets artificial intelligence.
This is an area of inquiry I want to explore through artistic practice and dialogue. The questions are as important as any tools:
- How might AI open new possibilities for choreographic thinking and dance research?
- What can a computational tool help us notice—and what might it miss about lived, cultural, and embodied experience?
- How can artists retain authorship, agency, and care as these technologies enter the creative process?
04 / Technology & ongoing learning
Understanding
the systems
around us.
Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate · In progressMy interest in technology extends beyond the studio. I want to understand how digital systems work, how we use them, and how we can use them responsibly.
I’m currently working toward the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate. This learning is part of a broader curiosity about technology, digital security, and the ways they shape everyday and creative life.
For me, continuing to learn is also a creative practice: asking questions, making connections, and remaining open to unfamiliar territory.
